Any good Tips?????

I just purchased my first Copic Markers.

My local scrapbook store Wiggles & Giggles is having a great sale today. The Copic Markers are buy one and get one 50% off so I figured now would be the time to try them out.  I keep hearing how great these markers are but you have to use them correctly.  What is the correct way to use them? Any tips?

  1. Try the YouTube tutorials and copic have a site as well with tutorials, and label all your markers asap with your name so at craft group you know which ones are yours. You must use Momento ink or Brilliance Ink(Heat set)for your stamped images. Have fun, I'm just getting the hang of it myself!

  3. copic markers are so intimidating to me! I also know that people get addicted to them... once you buy a few youll be buying them in every single shade :) There are websites that dedicate themselves only to teaching copic tips, I have also seen a book about how to use them at a local craft store as well. I'm no help lol but have fun with them!!!! Let us know how you like em!

  4. Thanks for the tips ladies. I did go on You Tube and there are tons of tutorials for Copic Markers. I picked up some great tips now it's just a matter of playing with them. I also made the mistake of clicking on some of the links that were provided. I ended up on Scrapmart.com and purchased 16 more markers, 3 paper packs, 1 stamp and 1 ink pad. Good thing hubby doesn't pay any attention to my posts hehehehe!
