Seriously Beautiful

Happy  Sunday,

This weeks share is a scrapbook layout I made. It's the first page of the new year. A goal this year is to continue to try and use up the supplies I have. So mixed matched papers and embellishments will be something I continue to do through out the year.

Color Pages

Happy Sunday,

My share this week is coloring pages. Like a lot of you out there I have jumped in on this big coloring craze and have tons of coloring books. But what do you do with all the color pages once you color them in? I decided to up-cycle mine.

Here is a color page that I colored using my Koh-I-Noor Hardmuth Tri-Tone pencils. I decided to cut out a few flowers and add them to my Fauzbonichi page for today. I also have a few of the flowers cut from another page that I added some stickles and glitter to make embellishments for scrapbooking pages. For my Fauxbonchi I keep everything as flat as possible so I didn't want to add anything that would bulk up the flowers.

Hope you will use this tip and up-cycle some of your coloring pages.

Thank You Card

Happy Monday,

This week I am sharing a Thank You card I made for a co-worker who sent me a beautiful gift box filled with chocolate.

I started with stamping the flower image on watercolor paper and used water color pencils to color it in. Then I just tore the edges. I added the butterfly brads and the dot brads. Layered cardstock and added the watercolor paper, thanks tag,  ribbon strip and then some perfect pearl drops. Finished the edges with stickles.
