Good Morning,
This week I made some dimensional flowers to put in a wedding album I'm making.
I used the Mother's Day Bouquet Cricut Cartridge and scraps of patterned paper.
I forgot to take pictures before I placed the flowers in the album so your going to see corners of the mini album, sorry.
After the flowers were cut I sprayed them with Perfect Pearls And Glimmer Mist. I used the yellow to tone down the blue in paper and the white pearl to give it some shimmer.
While they were wet I took the layers for one of the flowers and scrunched them up in a ball to get them all wrinkled. Opened them back up and let them dry. After they dried I put them together with a brad. I think I will be making tons of these flowers just to have on hand. They were so easy and so much cheaper than buying them premade at the store. I am going to try to add different materials between the layers to get different looks. I'll post my progress.
Now, if you would like to show off your project just visit Alex's Blog at "You Had Me At Craft" an link up.
Happy Crafting!

ReplyDeletePretty flowers!! Love the glimmer mist!!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE these flowers!!!! Simply beautiful. How's the camper project coming along?
ReplyDeleteThanks Ladies for the lovely comments.
ReplyDeleteDawn the camper project is coming along slowly. We have has so much rain that it's hard for Dave to work on it. He did replace the framing on the two front sides and the framing on the front of the camper (that was the last set of pictures I posted)and has to do the back two sides and the back. Because the has to lift the panels up to replace the framing if it rains he can't work on it. It will get done eventually. Once the framing is finished and the outside is recalked he can work on the inside over the winter.
These flowers are amazing - great work! You are very talented.
ReplyDeleteThanks Brenda
