Cape Cod Shadow Box

This a shadow box I made for my mother-in-law from our September 2010 vacation at the Cape. I used some seaweed, sand and shells that I found on the beach. The title came from a wave that caught my mom and my mother-in-law while they were sitting in the chairs at the waters edge. My mother-in-law was wearing her shorts not a bathing suit.

This page is made from a junk envelope that came in the mail. I sealed my February journaling in the envelope before I decorated it.

I used acrylic paints, glimmer mist, gel pens, fibers, stickers, stamps, modge podge, fabric flower, paper punches, stickles.
