We took a two hour air boat ride on Lake Tohopekaliga narrated by Captain Jim from Ultimate Airboat Rides. Captain Jim knew right where to go to see the gators and we seen tons of them along with other wildlife. Captain Jim was very knowledgeable on the gators, birds and native plants. Here are some of the pictures...

Valentine's Squash Mini

Here's a Valentine's Theme Squash Mini Kit I put together. I textured embossed all the papers in picture 3 with different style hearts ( very hard to see in the photo ). In picture 4, I there are flower brads, pink beads, a wooden love embellishment, some stickers, ribbons, buttons, clips, and cut outs. The poodle, love, award ribbon and elephant were stamped and colored with flock, glitter pens and stickles.

This is the inside cover to my art journal along with the first page front and back of an altered junk envelope. I did my journaling and sealed it in the envelope. My next step will be to add the page to the journal.

Memory Art Journal Outside Cover

I have the outside cover of my memory art journal complete. Now on to the inside cover.

I am so looking forward to this trip.

This will be my second time going on one of these bus tours with Wiggles & Giggles. I had a great time last year and met some new friends. I actually met two girls that work for the same company as I do. How funny is that.

We've been busily planning the 2011 Scrapbook Store Tour! Will you be joining us on April 3, 2011, for this FUN tour of your favorite Connecticut scrapbook stores? This extremely popular event works like this: you come to your home store in the morning for a light breakfast. You also enjoy product demonstrations and shopping at a storewide 20% discount. Then you board a comfortable coach bus and head off for the next store on the tour. The tour includes stops at:

New England Scrapbook Co, Canton

Papercraft Clubhouse, Westbrook

Inspiration Station, Stafford Springs

Wiggles & Giggles, Wethersfield

Your ticket will include:
