This weekend I took a break from all the projects I am doing for everyone and decided to make another squash book. I purchased two packs of scrapbook paper from LTD Commodities. The paper is very thin and would not be really good for page layouts but works very well for this type application. Because the paper is thin it keeps the squash book for getting to bulky. When you put it on a solid background it looks ok but would not work so well if you used a printed background base because you can see through this paper. I then used my large and small scallop circle punch for the journal cards and accented them with a flower punch from Creative Memories and added a black bead drop to the center. Then I just added dots from color markers for the border of the punches. I colored in a few spots on the paper with a matching colored marker. Leave a comment and let me know what you think. I appreciate all feedback.
