Fall Card

Here's a fall card I made. Not sure if I like the glittery green or not. I wanted to try out my new fence punch. The pumpkins are still wet with crackle accents.

Office Breakroom

Hi,

Are office went through a remodel. Our kitchen needed to be painted because we relocated a door. So we had an idea to paint each wall a different color. We did one wall purple, one green, one orange and one blue. The colors were picked from posters that we planned to hang in there. Although the process was a bit slow the out come is great. In my opinion anyway : )

I took a lot of slack with people making fun of all the colors, they just couldn't envision what I did. I was asked if we were starting a daycare to this is going to look like a kindergarten romper room.  Let me know what you think......

Wedding Mini

Hello,
I haven't posted much on my blog lately. The summer was pretty busy and things are just starting to slow down. I have about 8 projects started and seem to making some progress on finishing them.Today I wanted to post a project that I finished. It's a small wedding mini. My boss is getting married next month and I thought this was a cute gift.

Art Journal Page

Hello,

I was just playing around in with my art journal tonight. For this journal page I used dylusions ink spray, acrylic paint, perfect pearls and smooch. I like the way the perfect pearls and smooch glide accross the acrylic paint and the ink sprays.

Cover to Junk Journal

Good Morning,

Today I wanted to share the cover I made for a Junk Journal I am giving to a friend at work. I was going to add a title but decided to let her add her own title.

I used a piece of cardboard for the cover. Decorated it with papers, fibers, crackle paint, glimmer mist, flower petals, lace, stones, seed beads, perfect pearls, paper cut outs, stickles and tons of mod podge.

The inside has different size scrapbook papers, tags, envelopes and journal pages.  Now all my friend has to do is add pictures, journaling, doodling, notes, or whatever else she wants.

Second Friendship Journal Swap

So our 2nd journal swap is completed. He is a picture of the final page (we all get a completed page).  Here's how it was made.....


Lori (me) - (1st) Base layer creating texture. I used 3 colors of flock, pink perfect pearls mist, martha steward glitter in two colors, tim holtz alochol ink wild plum, mod podge.
Tambra - (2nd) seashorses using the cricut cartridgedoodle charms, mod podge, silica sand, black seed bead.
Abbey - (3rd) Sea shell, sea weed usinf fiber optic strands, turtle using the cricut zoo day cartridge, ny brand fingernail polish, hot rod glitter, midnight black.
Lorri - (4th) Clay embellishment, glimmer glam, flower sticker, mod podge, gesso, ric rac, title and the wrting.


This project was a lot of fun because the no one knew what anyone else was going to do to add to the journal. I hop to host another one of these very soon.

Hello My Crafty Friends,

I'm planning on hosting my second Friendship Journal Swap. If your interested continue to read the below rules.

1. There will be a max of 5 participants. They will be chosen on a first come first serve basis.
2. I will start the swap by making a base journal for each participant.
3. I will then mail all five pieces to the second person on the list. The second person will then add a layer to all five journals and mail all five pieces to the third person on the list and so on.
4. The last person to add their layer will then keep one for them self and mail the other 4 back to me. I will then keep mine and mail the the others to the second person and so on.

When decorating the front of the journals you can use any materials you like and add whatever you like to them. Just keep in mind you must do the same on each of the journals. On the back of the journal there will be a space for you to fill in your name, blog, email address and a spot to briefly describe what you did to the journal.

If you would be interested in participating leave me a message with your email. Please only reply if you can participate to completion to be fair to the others.

Center Pieces for Bridal Shower

Here's some photos of the center pieces I made with my sister-in-law for my daughters bridal shower.

These were set in martini glasses. The theme is martini and cupcakes. Now we need to figure out what we are going to do for the cupcake decorations.
